Job Summary
Receive and prepare packages for delivery at the Amazon Delivery Station; operate scanners and handheld devices to sort, wrap, and transport pallets and packages for vans; load conveyors, receive truck deliveries, and ensure items are staged for drivers. Roles include building, sorting, and transporting pallets, following on-screen prompts, and working with temperature-controlled facilities; schedule options include Full-Time, Reduced-Time, Part-Time, and Flex-Time with fixed or flexible schedules, plus potential overtime; training is provided on the job, with opportunities for upskilling and tuition support for select employee groups.
Required Qualifications
- Be 18 years or older
- Understand and follow instructions in English
- Lift up to 49 pounds
- View prompts on screens and follow direction for some tasks
- Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
- Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
- Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
- Work in an environment with varying temperatures and moving vehicles
