Job Summary
Amazon Planner responsible for the complete financial management of the assigned area, including the creation of financial and merchandise plans, actualization of results, and identifying, communicating, and implementing strategic opportunities at the division, category, and season code levels. Will forecast sales, markdowns, and inventory, identify risks, and develop action plans with merchandising partners to mitigate risks profitably. Key responsibilities include creating monthly financial plans at division and category level, reforecasting sales, gross margin, and inventory, recapping end-of-season performance, conducting stock replenishment and item planning, daily/periodic sales reporting, managing inventory flow on fashion receipts, developing size curves and pre-pack definitions, and partnering with merchants to support the buy process. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree; 3+ years in retail planning and analysis. Skills: strong analytical ability, proficiency with planning systems and Microsoft Office, problem solving, data reasoning, organization, teamwork, and communication.
