Job Summary
Amazon Delivery Station Warehouse Associate at Fort Lauderdale, FL: Join the dedicated Amazon team handling the last stop before delivery. You’ll receive trucks, load and move items to preparation areas, sort and scan packages with handheld devices, and build/transport pallets for delivery. Responsibilities include receiving truck deliveries, preparing orders for vans, and ensuring safe operations around moving equipment. Multiple shift options are available (Early Morning and Overnight) with full-time, reduced-time, part-time, and flex-time schedules. Training is on-the-job with potential for career growth and tuition support. Safety gear and a supportive team environment are provided.
Required Qualifications
- Be 18 years or older
- Understand and follow instructions in English
- Lift up to 49 pounds
- Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
- View prompts on screens and follow direction for some tasks
- Receive and prepare packages for delivery
- Use technology like smartphones and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders into delivery bags and vans
- Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages
- Receive truck deliveries of customer packages
- Shift options: Early Morning and Overnight hours
- Full-Time (40 hours), Reduced-Time (30-39 hours), Part-Time (20-29 hours), Flex-Time
- Schedule flexibility
