Job Summary
Receive and prepare packages for delivery by loading conveyor belts, sorting, scanning, and staging orders into delivery bags and vans. Transport and stage deliveries using carts, dollies, and hand trucks, while building, wrapping, and moving pallets and packages from truck deliveries. Operate technology like smartphones and handheld devices to sort and prepare orders, working in a climate-controlled environment with varying temperatures and moving vehicles. Perform physical tasks including standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching, while lifting up to 49 pounds. Go up and down stairs where applicable, wearing closed-toe shoes and protective safety footwear in select areas.
Required Qualifications
- Be 18 years or older
- Understand and follow instructions in English
- Lift up to 49 pounds
- View prompts on screens and follow direction for some tasks
- Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
- Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
- Work in an environment with varying temperatures and moving vehicles
- Closed-toe shoes required
- Protective safety footwear required in select areas
