Job Summary
Receive and prepare packages for delivery by loading conveyor belts, sorting, scanning, and staging orders into delivery bags and vans. Build, wrap, and transport pallets and packages using carts, dollies, and hand trucks while operating within climate-controlled facilities ranging from below freezing to over 90°F. Work in a fast-paced environment with moving vehicles and varying temperatures, utilizing smartphones and handheld devices to process customer orders. Perform physical tasks including standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching while lifting up to 49 pounds. Go up and down stairs where applicable and wear closed-toe shoes and protective safety footwear in select areas.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- Understand and follow instructions in English
- Lift up to 49 pounds
- View prompts on screens and follow direction for some tasks
- Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
- Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
- Work in an environment with varying temperatures and moving vehicles
- Closed-toe shoes
- Protective safety footwear in select areas
