Job Summary
Amazon Package Sorter at the Weston location handles loading and sorting packages at the delivery station. You’ll receive trucks, sort and prepare packages for delivery, scan and organize orders into delivery bags and vans, and build/sort/transport pallets and packages. The role involves standing for long periods, lifting up to 49 pounds, using carts and hand trucks, climbing stairs where applicable, and working in a climate-controlled warehouse with varying temperatures and moving equipment. Shift options include early morning and overnight, with full-time or other schedule variations and potential overtime. Training is provided on onboarding, with opportunities for career growth and development. Safety is prioritized with protective gear and safety tips shared daily. Required Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- Understand and follow instructions in English
- Lift up to 49 pounds
- Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
- Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear
- Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
- Work in an environment with varying temperatures and moving vehicles
- Receive and prepare packages for delivery
- Use technology like smartphones and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders into delivery bags and vans
- Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages
- Receive truck deliveries of customer packages
- Shift Options: Early Morning and Overnight hours
- Full-Time (40 hours) or other schedule options
