Job Summary
Amazon Package Sorter at a La Crosse delivery station: receive and prepare packages for delivery, sort and scan with handheld devices, build and transport pallets and packages, and receive truck deliveries of customer packages. Roles include early morning and overnight shifts with flexible scheduling options (Full-Time 40 hours, Reduced-Time 30-39 hours, Part-Time 20-29 hours, Flex-Time with minimum 4 hours/week). Required Qualifications
- Be 18 years or older
- Understand and follow instructions in English
- Lift up to 49 pounds
- View prompts on screens and follow direction for some tasks
- Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
- Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
- Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
- Work in an environment with varying temperatures and moving vehicles
- Receive and prepare packages for delivery
- Use technology like smartphones and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders into delivery bags and vans
- Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages
- Receive truck deliveries of customer packages
