Job Summary
Amazon Package Sorter at an Amazon Delivery Station: receive and prepare packages for delivery, sort and scan orders with handheld devices, build and transport pallets, and prepare items for driver pickup. Flexible shift options include Early Morning and Overnight; full-time and varying hours available. Safe-work environment with protective gear and training provided.
Required Qualifications
- Be 18 years or older
- Understand and follow instructions in English
- Lift up to 49 pounds
- View prompts on screens and follow direction for some tasks
- Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
- Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
- Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
- Work in an environment with varying temperatures and moving vehicles
- Receive and prepare packages for delivery
- Use technology like smartphones and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders into delivery bags and vans
- Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages
- Receive truck deliveries of customer packages
- Shift Options (Early Morning and Overnight)
- Weekly Hours (Full-Time 40 hours, Reduced-Time 30-39 hours, Part-Time 20-29 hours, Flex-Time)
