Job Summary
Receive and prepare packages for delivery by loading conveyor belts, staging orders, and transporting items to drivers. Scan and sort packages using smartphones and handheld devices to build, wrap, and load them into delivery bags and vans. Transport pallets and packages using carts, dollies, and hand trucks while navigating moving vehicles, stairs, and varying temperatures. Operate mobile cards and rolling cages in a climate-controlled environment with temperatures ranging from below freezing to over 90°F. Work in teams with daily safety briefings and wear protective gear, including closed-toe shoes and safety footwear where required.
Required Qualifications
- Be 18 years or older
- Understand and follow instructions in English
- Lift up to 49 pounds
- View prompts on screens and follow direction for some tasks
- Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
- Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
- Work in an environment with varying temperatures and moving vehicles
- Closed-toe shoes required
- Protective safety footwear required in select areas
