Job Summary
Receive and prepare packages for delivery by loading conveyor belts, scanning orders, and staging items for drivers. Transport pallets and packages using carts, dollies, and hand trucks while operating smartphones and handheld devices to sort orders into delivery bags and vans. Work in a climate-controlled environment with varying temperatures, moving vehicles, and noise levels, utilizing protective gear and following daily safety tips. Perform physical tasks including standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching while lifting up to 49 pounds. Go up and down stairs where applicable and view screen prompts to follow direction for specific tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Be 18 years or older
- Understand and follow instructions in English
- Lift up to 49 pounds
- View prompts on screens and follow direction for some tasks
- Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
- Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
- Work in an environment with varying temperatures and moving vehicles
- Closed-toe shoes required
- Protective safety footwear required in select areas
