Job Summary
Receive and prepare packages for delivery by loading conveyor belts, staging orders for drivers, and using handheld devices to scan and sort items into delivery bags and vans. Transport pallets and packages using carts, dollies, and hand trucks while navigating varying temperatures, moving vehicles, and stairs. Work in climate-controlled facilities with temperatures ranging from below freezing to above 90°F, operating around mobile equipment and rolling cages.
Required Qualifications
- Be 18 years or older
- Understand and follow instructions in English
- Lift up to 49 pounds
- View prompts on screens and follow direction for some tasks
- Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
- Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
- Work in an environment with varying temperatures and moving vehicles
- Closed-toe shoes required
- Protective safety footwear required in select areas
