Job Summary
Receive and prepare packages for delivery by loading conveyor belts, scanning orders, and staging deliveries for drivers. Transport and stage items using carts, dollies, and hand trucks while building, wrapping, and sorting pallets. Operate technology like smartphones and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders into delivery bags and vans. Accept truck deliveries of customer packages and work in a climate-controlled environment with varying temperatures and moving vehicles. Perform physical tasks including standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, reaching, and climbing stairs while lifting up to 49 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Be 18 years or older
- Understand and follow instructions in English
- Lift up to 49 pounds
- View prompts on screens and follow direction for some tasks
- Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
- Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
- Work in an environment with varying temperatures and moving vehicles
- Closed-toe shoes required
- Protective safety footwear required in select areas
