Job Summary
Amazon Package Sorter at a Delivery Station: responsible for receiving and preparing packages for delivery, sorting and scanning with handheld tech, and building/transporting pallets and packages in a fast-paced warehouse. Flexible shift options include Early Morning and Overnight; roles available as Full-Time, Reduced-Time, Part-Time, or Flex-Time, with training provided and opportunities for career growth. Safety-focused environment with temperature controls and protective footwear required.
Required Qualifications
- Be 18 years or older
- Understand and follow instructions in English
- Lift up to 49 pounds
- View prompts on screens and follow direction for some tasks
- Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
- Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
- Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
- Work in an environment with varying temperatures and moving vehicles
- Receive and prepare packages for delivery
- Use technology like smartphones and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders into delivery bags and vans
- Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages
- Receive truck deliveries of customer packages
- Shift Options: Early Morning and Overnight hours
- Full-Time (40 hours), Reduced-Time (30-39 hours), Part-Time (20-29 hours), Flex-Time (minimum 4 hours/week)
