Job Summary
Receive and prepare packages for delivery by loading conveyor belts, transporting items, and staging deliveries for drivers. Scan orders using smartphones and handheld devices to sort them into delivery bags and vans. Build, wrap, and transport pallets and packages while operating carts, dollies, and hand trucks in a climate-controlled environment with varying temperatures. Work with moving vehicles and equipment, including mobile cards and rolling cages, while following safety protocols and wearing protective gear.
Required Qualifications
- Be 18 years or older
- Understand and follow instructions in English
- Lift up to 49 pounds
- View prompts on screens and follow direction for some tasks
- Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
- Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
- Work in an environment with varying temperatures and moving vehicles
- Closed-toe shoes required
- Protective safety footwear required in select areas
