Job Summary
Receive and prepare packages for delivery by loading conveyor belts, sorting, scanning, and staging orders into delivery bags and vans using smartphones and handheld devices. Transport and stage deliveries to be picked up by drivers, while building, wrapping, and moving pallets and packages with carts, dollies, and hand trucks. Handle truck deliveries of customer packages and operate around moving equipment in a climate-controlled environment with varying temperatures. Perform physical tasks including standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching, while lifting up to 49 pounds. Go up and down stairs where applicable and view prompts on screens to follow direction for specific tasks.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- Understand and follow instructions in English
- Lift up to 49 pounds
- View prompts on screens and follow direction for some tasks
- Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
- Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
- Work in an environment with varying temperatures and moving vehicles
- Closed-toe shoes
- Protective safety footwear in select areas
