Job Summary
Receive and prepare packages for delivery by loading conveyor belts, sorting, scanning, and staging items into delivery bags and vans. Transport and stage deliveries using carts, dollies, and hand trucks while operating around moving equipment. Build, wrap, and sort pallets and packages after receiving truck deliveries of customer orders. Use technology like smartphones and handheld devices to follow direction for tasks involving screens. Work in a climate-controlled environment with varying temperatures and noise levels, requiring standing, walking, and lifting up to 49 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- Understand and follow instructions in English
- Lift up to 49 pounds
- View prompts on screens and follow direction for some tasks
- Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
- Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
- Work in an environment with varying temperatures and moving vehicles
- Closed-toe shoes
- Protective safety footwear in select areas
