Job Summary
Amazon Delivery Station Warehouse Associate at the Vail, CO site. You’ll be part of the delivery station team, receiving and preparing packages for delivery, using handheld devices to sort and prepare orders, building and transporting pallets, and loading items for vans. Roles include handling conveyors and pallets, standing for shifts, and working in a climate-controlled facility with varying temperatures. Shifts include early morning and overnight options; schedule can be fixed or flexible with potential overtime. Training is provided on onboarding and you’ll have opportunities for career growth and benefits. You’ll be expected to follow safety guidelines and use equipment such as carts and hand trucks, with the ability to lift up to 49 pounds and work in a dynamic warehouse environment.
Required Qualifications
- Be 18 years or older
- Understand and follow instructions in English
- Lift up to 49 pounds
- View prompts on screens and follow direction for some tasks
- Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
- Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
- Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
- Work in an environment with varying temperatures and moving vehicles
- Receive and prepare packages for delivery
- Use technology like smartphones and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders into delivery bags and vans
- Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages
- Receive truck deliveries of customer packages
- Shift Options: Early Morning and Overnight hours
- Full-Time (40 hours), Reduced-Time (30-39 hours), Part-Time (20-29 hours), Flex-Time (minimum 4 hours/week)
- Schedule Flexibility: Fixed or Flexible Schedule
- Overtime Opportunities: extended or reduced by demand
