Job Summary
Handle incoming packages, sort and scan orders using handheld devices, prepare delivery bags and vans, build and transport pallets and packages, follow English instructions, and adhere to safety guidelines in an Amazon Delivery Station environment. Roles include receiving and preparing packages for delivery, operating within climate-controlled facilities, with shifts including early morning and overnight options; multiple schedule types available. Required Qualifications
- Be 18 years or older
- Understand and follow instructions in English
- Lift up to 49 pounds
- View prompts on screens and follow direction for some tasks
- Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
- Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
- Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
- Work in an environment with varying temperatures and moving vehicles
- Receive and prepare packages for delivery
- Use technology like smartphones and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders into delivery bags and vans
- Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages
- Receive truck deliveries of customer packages
