Job Summary
Receive and prepare packages for delivery by loading conveyor belts, transporting items, and staging orders for drivers. Use smartphones and handheld devices to sort, scan, and build delivery bags and vans. Operate carts, dollies, and hand trucks to move pallets and packages while navigating environments with moving vehicles and varying temperatures. Lift up to 49 pounds and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching. Go up and down stairs where applicable while following instructions and viewing prompts on screens. Work in a climate-controlled facility ranging from below freezing to over 90°F, wearing closed-toe shoes and protective safety footwear in select areas.
Required Qualifications
- Be 18 years or older
- Understand and follow instructions in English
- Lift up to 49 pounds
- View prompts on screens and follow direction for some tasks
- Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
- Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
- Work in an environment with varying temperatures and moving vehicles
- Closed-toe shoes required
- Protective safety footwear required in select areas
