Job Summary
Sun & Ski Sports appoints an Amazon Channel Manager to own and operate the Amazon marketplace end-to-end, serving as the single point of accountability for channel revenue, margin, and growth. Responsibilities include developing and executing channel strategy, managing end-to-end FBA/FBM operations and DC coordination, owning all Seller Central activities (listings, catalog, variations, compliance), optimizing pricing and promotions, building SKU-level profitability models, leading advertising campaigns (Sponsored Products/Brands/Display), and delivering regular executive updates with YOY comparisons and forward projections. The role requires deep hands-on experience with Amazon Seller Central, FBA prep, ASIN-level content, brand registry/IP enforcement, and strong analytical capabilities to drive channel performance and cost-effective fulfillment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Marketing, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
- 5+ years of direct, hands-on Amazon Seller Central experience in a seller (not vendor) environment required.
- Demonstrated expertise in FBA operations, including inbound shipment management, prep compliance, and storage cost management.
- Experience physically coordinating with warehouse or DC teams on product measurement, prep, and shipment execution.
- Proficiency in flat file and bulk listing workflows; experience with Amazon product feed tools and catalog management.
- Strong analytical skills; ability to build and interpret SKU-level P&L models and channel profitability analyses.
- Hands-on experience managing Amazon PPC campaigns with measurable results.
- Solid understanding of Amazon's repricing mechanics, buy box dynamics, and competitive pricing strategy.
- Experience with Amazon Brand Registry, IP protection, and unauthorized seller enforcement preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with BI tools or dashboarding platforms is a plus.
- Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable managing multiple concurrent workstreams independently.
