Job Summary
Compassionate Caregiver needed to assist seniors with activities of daily living in private home settings. Responsibilities include personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing), medication reminders, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transportation/errands, companionship, and monitoring changes in health status. Requires experience in caregiving environments, knowledge of HIPAA, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle challenging behaviors. Openings across multiple suburbs in the North/Northwest Chicago area with in-person work; both full-time and part-time schedules available.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in caregiving or equivalent
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Proficiency in caregiving techniques
- Ability to manage challenging behaviors effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid ID and Social Security Card
