Job Summary
Caregiver needed to assist seniors with daily living activities in-home across multiple Chicago-area suburbs. Responsibilities include personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming), companionship, meal preparation and medication reminders, light housekeeping, running errands, escorting to appointments, and monitoring/reporting changes in health status. Requires experience in assisted living or senior care, knowledge of HIPAA, strong caregiving techniques, and excellent communication. Flexible scheduling with options for full- or part-time work; positions available across North/Western Suburbs IL with in-person work. Benefits include health/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), paid time off, paid training, overtime pay, and referral program. Openings in Glenview, Evanston, Chicago, Park Ridge, and surrounding suburbs; driver’s license preferred and ability to relocate within North/West Suburbs if needed.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years experience required
- Valid ID and Social Security Card - Required
- Driver's License (Preferred)
- Experience in assisted living or senior care environments
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Proficiency in caregiving techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage challenging behaviors
- Background in childcare, social work, or related fields
- Non-medical home care capabilities (ADLs, meal prep, errands, etc.)
