Job Summary
Compassionate caregiver needed to assist seniors with activities of daily living, provide companionship, manage medications reminders, perform light housekeeping, and escort to appointments. Responsibilities include personal care tasks (bathing, grooming, dressing), meal preparation, medication reminders, transportation, and monitoring health status. Requires experience in senior/home care, HIPAA awareness, strong communication, and the ability to handle behavioral challenges. Flexible schedule with part-time and full-time opportunities; multiple suburban locations in Illinois; in-person work with weekly pay and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of caregiving experience
- Experience in assisted living or senior care environments
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Proficiency in caregiving techniques
- Ability to manage challenging behaviors effectively
- Background in childcare, social work, or related fields
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with home care systems
- Ability to perform ADLs (bathing, dressing, meal prep, etc.)
