Job Summary
Caregiver needed to assist seniors with activities of daily living, personal care, meal prep, medication reminders, light housekeeping, transportation to appointments, and providing companionship. Responsibilities include bathing, grooming, dressing, monitoring health status, reporting changes, and applying behavior-management techniques when needed. Requires experience in assisted living or senior care, knowledge of HIPAA, strong communication, ability to manage challenging behaviors, and familiarity with home care systems. Openings are in the North/Western Suburbs of Chicago with in-person duties; roles include Full-time and Part-time with flexible scheduling, weekly pay, benefits, and paid training. Openings in several suburbs including Glenview, Evanston, Northbrook, Highland Park, Skokie, Niles, Chicago, Park Ridge, Lake Bluff, Libertyville, Lake Forest, Oakbrook, Forest Park, Riverside, Downers Grove and more.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of experience or equivalent (Required)
- Valid ID and Social Security Card (Required)
- Driver's License (Preferred)
- Ability to commute/relocate to North/Western Suburbs (Required)
- Experience in assisted living or senior care environments (Required)
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations (Required)
- Proficiency in caregiving techniques (Required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills (Required)
- Background in childcare, social work, or related fields (Required)
- Familiarity with home care systems (Required)
- Competence in meal preparation for special dietary needs (Required)
