Job Summary
Compassionate Caregiver needed to assist seniors with daily living activities in home care settings. Responsibilities include personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing), companionship and emotional support, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, escorting to appointments, and reporting health status changes. Must have experience in assisted living or senior care environments, knowledge of HIPAA, ability to handle challenging behaviors, familiarity with home care systems, and strong communication skills. Opportunities available in multiple North/Northwestern suburbs of Chicago with in-person work commitments; flexible scheduling and weekly pay are offered. Openings include full-time, part-time, live-in, and weekend shifts. Required Qualifications
- 1+ years experience in caregiving or related fields
- Ability to commute/relocate to North/Western Suburbs IL
- Valid ID and Social Security Card
- Driver's License (preferred)
- Experience with HIPAA regulations
- Ability to manage challenging behaviors
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, meal prep, medication reminders
