Job Summary
Compassionate caregiver needed to join Amada Senior Care NorthShore to provide daily living support for seniors in suburban Chicago area. Responsibilities include assisting with personal care tasks (bathing, grooming, dressing), companionship, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, escorting to appointments, running errands, and monitoring/reporting changes in health status. Ideal candidates have experience in assisted living/home care, HIPAA knowledge, strong caregiving techniques, the ability to manage challenging behaviors, and excellent communication/interpersonal skills. The role offers full-time and part-time opportunities with weekly pay, plus benefits (401k, health, dental, vision insurance), paid training, paid time off, overtime, and referral incentives. Openings across multiple suburbs (Glenview, Evanston, Northbrook, Highland Park, Skokie, Niles, Chicago, Park Ridge, Lake Bluff, Libertyville, Lake Forest, Oakbrook, Forest Park, Riverside, Downers Grove, Westmont and more). Work location is in person; candidates must be able to commute or relocate to North/Western Suburbs of Chicago. Candidate requirements include valid ID and Social Security Card; 1 year of experience or equivalent; driver’s license preferred; ability to commute/relocate as specified.
