Job Summary
Compassionate caregiver sought to provide non-medical in-home support to seniors. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming), companionship and emotional support, meal preparation and medication reminders, light housekeeping, running errands, escorting clients to appointments, monitoring health changes, and applying behavior-management techniques when needed. Must have prior experience in assisted living or senior care, knowledge of HIPAA regulations, strong caregiving techniques, ability to manage challenging behaviors, familiarity with home care systems, and effective communication/interpersonal skills. Relevant backgrounds in childcare, social work, or related fields are a plus. The role emphasizes meaningful, person-centered care and building connections to support a safe, comfortable transition for clients. Openings located in multiple suburbs around NorthShore/Chicago with flexible scheduling; weekly pay; benefits including health, dental, vision, 401K eligibility, direct deposit, overtime, training, referral program, and weekend/live-in options.
