As a Caregiver with Amada Senior Care NorthShore, you will provide daily living assistance and compassionate care to seniors in their homes. Responsibilities include helping with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing), offering companionship, assisting with meal preparation and medication reminders, light housekeeping, running errands, escorting clients to appointments, and monitoring health changes. You will implement behavior management when needed and support clients to maintain independence and comfort. Ideal candidates have experience in assisted living or senior care, knowledge of HIPAA, strong caregiving techniques, effective communication and interpersonal skills, ability to manage challenging behaviors, familiarity with home care systems, and a background in related fields such as childcare or social work.
