Job Summary
Compassionate caregiver role providing daily living assistance and companionship to seniors in home-based settings. Responsibilities include helping with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing), meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, running errands, transporting clients to appointments, monitoring health status, and implementing behavior management techniques when needed. Requires experience in assisted living or senior care, knowledge of HIPAA, strong caregiving skills, effective communication, and the ability to support clients with various ADLs and dietary needs. Openings in multiple North and West Suburban Chicago areas with in-person work expectations; flexible scheduling and opportunities for full-time or part-time roles. Weekly pay and benefits available for eligible employees.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years experience in caregiving or related field
- Experience in assisted living or senior care environments
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Proficiency in caregiving techniques
- Ability to manage challenging behaviors
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to assist with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation)
- Valid ID and Social Security Card (as required)
- Driver's License (preferred)
