Job Summary
Compassionate caregiver role providing ADL support, personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing), meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, companionship, and transportation/errand support. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, monitoring health status, reporting changes, maintaining client records, and ensuring safety and comfort for seniors in home-care settings across multiple Chicago-area suburbs. Requires experience in senior/home care, HIPAA awareness, strong communication, ability to handle challenging behaviors, and a patient, compassionate approach. Opportunities for weekly pay, flexible scheduling, and benefits with full-time or part-time hours. Location-based in-person care across listed North/Western Suburbs.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of caregiver/ senior care experience
- Experience in assisted living or senior care environments
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Proficiency in caregiving techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage challenging behaviors
- Driver's license preferred (not required)
- Valid ID and Social Security Card
