Job Summary
Provide compassionate in-home care to seniors, performing activities of daily living support, personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing), meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and companionship. Assist with transportation to appointments, monitor health status, and report changes. Maintain HIPAA compliance and adapt caregiving techniques to meet each client’s needs, delivering respectful, person-centered support and helping clients maintain independence and quality of life. Openings are in multiple suburbs around the North/Western Chicago suburbs with in-person, full- or part-time schedules.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in assisted living or senior care environments
- Valid ID and Social Security Card (Required)
- Driver's License (Preferred)
- Ability to commute/relocate to North/Western Suburbs (Required)
- HIPAA knowledge
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Meal preparation and medication reminders
- Light housekeeping
- Companionship and emotional support
