Job Summary
Compassionate Caregiver needed to assist seniors with activities of daily living in home-based settings. Responsibilities include personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing), companionship, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, running errands, transporting to appointments, and monitoring changes in health. Experience in assisted living or senior care environments preferred; HIPAA knowledge and strong communication skills required. Flexible scheduling with both full-time and part-time options across multiple Illinois suburbs. Benefits include health/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), paid time off, overtime, paid training, and referral incentives. Pay range $16.50-$18.00 per hour, weekly pay. Location-based in-person work across listed suburbs; open positions in Chicago and surrounding communities.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of caregiving experience
- ability to commute/relocate to listed suburbs
- valid ID and SSN
- driver's license (preferred)
- background in caregiving or related fields
- HIPAA knowledge
- ability to manage challenging behaviors
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
