Job Summary
Conduct punching, bending, seating, flanging, and top flanging of material to specifications in work orders and production drawings while achieving safety, quality, efficiency, lean, and production goals. Set up the machine for required operations and manufacture parts according to prints. Perform quality inspections against drawings and specifications, communicating with leadership regarding issues and improvements. Work independently to meet production deadlines and KPIs. Operate large equipment while standing for approximately 8-12 hours in a swing shift environment involving repetitive motion and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Manufacturing production experience (2 years)
- Sit down forklift certification (or ability to be certified)
- Understanding how to read a tape measure, protractor, and square
- Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and heavier weights with proper equipment
- Must be able to stand, walk, see, talk and hear
- Must be able to sit
- Must be able to operate large equipment while standing for approximately 8-12 hours
- Must be able to regularly twist and bend in a repetitive motion
- Must be able to work in an environment with risk exposure to heat and/or cold
- Must be able to work in an environment with loud noise levels
- Must be able to work in an environment with vibration
- Must be able to work in an environment with moving mechanical parts
- Must be able to work a Swing shift position (3:45pm - 12:15am)
- Must be able to work in Stockton, CA
- Must be able to work a full-time, non-exempt, Union position
- Must be able to work 0% domestic travel
- Must be able to pass a successful drug screen
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
