Job Summary
Establish positive patient identification and collect blood specimens using approved procedures, including venipuncture and capillary puncture. Process specimens with appropriate safety equipment and PPE to ensure high-quality collection on the first attempt. Collaborate with laboratory and patient care teams in acute care and ambulatory settings. This role offers full-time day shifts with rotating weekends, 8-hour hours, and a salary range of $22.79 to $31.27. MultiCare Laboratory Services supports a diverse patient population across 13 hospitals in Washington and Northern Idaho.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Active Medical Assistant–Certified (MA‐C) or Medical Assistant–Phlebotomy (MA‐P) credential
- Recent phlebotomy experience
Desired Qualifications
- ASCP or NCA certification
- Certification as MLT or equivalent
