AM Restaurant Server - Part Time - Ajax Tavern

AM Restaurant Server position in a table-service restaurant and/or bar/lounge environment. Responsibilities include serving guests in a timely and professional manner, setting tables, stocking condiments, polishing glassware, suggesting additional items to enhance sales, providing both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage service, operating POS and handling transactions, expediting food from kitchen, coordinating with kitchen and service staff, maintaining cleanliness, assisting with daily cleaning tasks, and supporting a smooth service flow. Requires strong knowledge of menus and ingredients, excellent customer service and communication skills, ability to take accurate orders, multitask across multiple tables, knowledge of food handling and safety regulations, upselling capabilities, proficiency with POS systems, English-language communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidays, with Part Time scheduling preferred. Education and experience preferences include High School diploma or GED and minimum one year guest service experience; TIPS Certification is a plus.
