Job Summary
The AM Production Assistant Supervisor will support daily production operations for fresh produce, oversee on-the-floor activities alongside the Production Supervisor, ensure adherence to HACCP and GMP standards, monitor line productivity, minimize waste, and optimize handling, packaging, and shipping processes to maintain product freshness and quality. Responsibilities include supervising staff in the absence of the Supervisor, promoting morale, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and safety in a high-pressure environment. Must have experience in fresh food/production, own transportation, English proficiency, basic math skills, and ability to collaborate across departments; capable of training and enforcing safety procedures on the floor.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in fresh food or production environment
- Must have own transportation
- Must have a working knowledge of English language
- Basic Mathematical abilities
- Ability to interact across departments
- Ability to train/enforce staff on safety requirements
- Possess verbal and written communication skills
