Job Summary
Execute detailed mechanical design of generator assemblies, modules, kits, options, and accessories, ensuring robust, scalable, and cost-effective solutions. Manage CAD deliverables, create Bills of Materials (BOMs), and contribute to New Product Development initiatives by collaborating with domestic and international engineering teams. Apply domain knowledge of generator systems and testing principles to support first-time-right design, while conducting design reviews, analysis, and optimization recommendations. Mentor CAD team members, drive efficiency improvements in design processes, and foster effective working relationships across cross-functional and global stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline)
- 7–10 years experience (Assistant Manager level)
- Strong understanding of generator systems (gas/diesel) and testing
- Proficiency in CAD tools (CREO, CATIA)
- Proficiency in PLM systems (Windchill)
- Proficiency in ERP (SAP)
- Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, and presentation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams
- Organized and effective in managing time and multiple projects
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to quality and innovation
