Job Summary
Front of House role as host/hostess in a café environment, serving as the frontline for customer service. Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders, expediting food and beverages, setting and bussing tables, restocking supplies, assisting kitchen staff as needed, and ensuring dining room stations are clean and well-maintained. Monitor guest flow, maintain safety and sanitation standards per OSHA/Public Health guidelines, and collaborate with team to deliver a high-quality guest experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent
- 1+ year experience in a food service operation and/or customer service role
- Active ServSafe or equivalent food handler certification (if required by locale)
- Ability to move about a fast-paced café environment
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
