Job Summary
Production Technician role reporting to the Production Supervisor and contributing to predetermined product volume output while meeting established quality standards. May transfer between departments to support company needs and will interact daily with team members to meet product demands. Responsibilities include adhering to trained safety regulations, inspecting materials for defects, recording scrap, reviewing work orders to ensure product specifications are met, maintaining knowledge of equipment, following work instructions, ensuring quality via critical steps, achieving production efficiency, communicating completions daily, maintaining workstation cleanliness, and reporting defects to the Team Lead. Requires attention to detail, ability to work quickly under pressure, teamwork, customer-service orientation, focus on repetitive tasks, safety mindset, and proficient use of tape measures. High School diploma and prior production/manufacturing experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in production/manufacturing environment
- Ability to maintain composure and work quickly under pressure
- Attention to detail and ability to follow safety and quality procedures
- Proficiency with tape measures and measuring accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude toward safety and quality
