AM Dock Supervisor

AM Dock Supervisor organizes and guides a team of dock associates during a shift to ensure freight is properly loaded and unloaded to facilitate on-time, error-free deliveries. The role involves coordinating a team of dock associates, assisting with hiring, training, and development of freight handlers, and working with customers to exceed satisfaction while maintaining safety and compliance. Responsibilities include documenting interactions, conducting daily inspections, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, addressing conflicts, managing end-of-shift reports, and protecting company assets. Travel up to 5% and typical hours are Monday to Friday with shift hours starting early in the morning. Competencies include superior verbal and written communication, leadership, time management, problem solving, analytical thinking, and a strong safety mindset with OSHA awareness and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
