Job Summary
Clear used tableware, napkins, and refuse from tables to bus stations while wiping surfaces and clearing debris from surrounding floor areas. Reset tables to seat new customers, remove full tubs to the dishwashing area, and maintain a clean, well-stocked bus station. Retrieve cleaned dishes, glassware, and utensils from the dish room to distribute to service stations. Sweep restaurant floors, refill ice stations, and stock requisitioned items from the stockroom. Assist waitstaff by refilling beverages and accommodating requests for condiments, food, or clean tableware. Maintain a friendly, cheerful demeanor throughout the shift.
Required Qualifications
- Must have basic knowledge of restaurant operations.
- Lifting, pushing, pulling and carrying up to 50 lbs to include serving trays, carts, tables, chairs, and small equipment up to 75% of the time.
- Mobility -full range of mobility and the ability to travel up to 300 feet on a regular basis throughout the shift.
- Continuous standing -during preparation, during service hours or during expediting.
- Ability to read meters and controls.
