Job Summary
Take customer food and drink orders, prepare itemized checks, and accept payments while escorting guests to tables and setting up or clearing them. Check patron identification to ensure compliance with alcohol purchase age requirements and provide courteous service. Operate the P.O.S. system, perform cashiering functions, and execute opening and closing procedures per station rotation. Maintain tidy, stocked tables and side stands. Comply with Aimbridge Hospitality standards, including Alcohol Awareness and Food Handlers certifications. Work in a Raleigh, NC location near PNC Arena and NC State Fairgrounds.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Alcohol Awareness Certification
- Food Handlers certification
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Must work well in stressful high pressure situations
