Job Summary
Ensure adherence to company safety, food safety, and government compliance programs across direct and indirect plant areas. Direct assigned employees in approved maintenance and technical work while coordinating schedules with the planner. Advise superiors and engineering on equipment failures requiring maintenance to reduce production downtime. Execute all maintenance tasks in your area and direct the activities of mechanics and technicians. Account for the efficiency and effectiveness of labor and resources under supervision while ensuring accurate reporting of maintenance man hours.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of High School diploma, GED or equivalent with technical skill training in the mechanical area
- Minimum of 3-5 years background experience in general industrial maintenance
- General knowledge of machinery in plant that applies to the industry
- background knowledge in electrical, hydraulic, welding and some PLC training
- Ability to communicate fluently in English, both written and verbal
- Computer literate
- Interpersonal skills
