Job Summary
Alumni Engagement Coordinator coordinates alumni engagement programming and communications outreach, supporting fundraising through direct donation campaigns. Responsibilities include planning and executing events with campus leadership, preparing and maintaining alumni data in Raiser's Edge/NXT, distributing pre/post-event communications, managing registrations and logistics, tracking attendance and gifts, handling vendor payments, and representing the school at events. The role requires strong communication, organizational, and data-management skills, plus the ability to work independently or with a team, with evening/weekend availability and some travel. The position is in-person in La Jolla, CA, with compensation in the $65k–$71k range and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of two to three years of experience in Alumni Engagement/Relations, Advancement, MarCom, Event Planning, or related. Direct experience in alumni engagement and volunteer management is preferred.
