Job Summary
Aluminum Structural Welders needed at a Shipyard in San Diego, CA. Responsibilities include aluminum welding using FCAW across flat, vertical, overhead, and horizontal positions, with Ceramic Tape experience. Must read and follow English instructions, attend required safety briefings, and pass background, vision, and drug tests. Overtime and all shifts available. Walk-ins accepted at 1625 Hoover Avenue, National City, CA. Shipyard experience is required.
Required Qualifications
- Three years of experience in Aluminum welding and flux core arc welding processes
- Proficient in flat, vertical, overhead, and horizontal welding
- Ceramic Tape experience is required
- Must comprehend written and verbal instructions (in English)
- Must be able to hear warning signals, read and comprehend safety instructions, regulations and warnings
- Must pass a background check, vision test and drug test
- Must be able to work any shift and overtime
- Shipyard experience is required
