Job Summary
Aluminum Structural Welders needed for a shipyard in San Diego, CA. Responsibilities include aluminum welding with Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW); proficiently welding in flat, vertical, overhead, and horizontal positions; Ceramic Tape experience required. Must comprehend written and verbal English, follow safety instructions, pass background/vision/drug tests, and be able to work any shift and overtime. Shipyard experience is required. Required Qualifications
- Three years of experience in Aluminum welding and flux core arc welding processes
- Proficient in flat, vertical, overhead, and horizontal welding
- Ceramic Tape experience
- Must comprehend written and verbal instructions (in English)
- Must be able to hear warning signals, read and comprehend safety instructions, regulations and warnings
- Must pass a background check, vision test and drug test
- Must be able to work any shift and overtime
- Shipyard experience is required
