Job Summary
Operate and optimize the aluminum extrusion press on the 3rd shift, performing die changes, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring product quality. Train and assist Operator I team members, read and execute shop orders and production specs, monitor press performance (temperature, speed, and pressure), identify and minimize waste, and uphold safety and PPE requirements. Collaborate across shifts and departments while supporting continuous improvement initiatives and completing special projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Successfully pass a skills-based extrusion test
- Must pass a company background check
- Must pass drug screen
