Job Summary
Operate bending machines in accordance with prints and specifications, interpreting technical drawings and following work instructions. Perform quality inspections using measurement tools such as calipers and gauges, while inspecting equipment prior to use and performing routine maintenance adjustments. Ensure compliance with MIOSHA safety rules and ISO quality procedures, collaborating with quality and engineering teams to resolve production issues. Maintain cleanliness of the work area following 5S standards and exhibit behaviors reflecting core values of Integrity, Empowerment, Sustainability, and Compassion. Full-time, 1st and 2nd shifts starting at $18-$23 in Kalamazoo, MI.
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years of related experience and/or training
- reliable work history
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Ability to speak clearly and effectively to others
- Basic math skills
Desired Qualifications
- Prior knowledge of design techniques, tools and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings and models
