Job Summary
The Alternatives RFP Writer and Presentation Designer (AVP) leads end-to-end development of high-quality RFPs, RFIs, and DDQs, plus marketing materials to differentiate the organization. Responsibilities include coordinating with Sales, Product, Technology, Legal, and Operations; managing timelines, deliverables, and quality; shaping response strategy and client-focused content; translating complex investment concepts into clear narratives; maintaining content libraries and templates; enhancing proposals with charts, diagrams, and polished visuals; ensuring consistent tone, branding, and formatting across PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Pro; applying design principles and AI-driven workflows to accelerate drafting and ensure scalable, professional client submissions. Desired skills include senior-level proposal management experience, strong writing/editing capability, graphic design proficiency (Infographics, charts, maps), and the ability to work independently or in a team; preferred Bachelor’s degree in relevant field. Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as an RFP Writer or similar capacity designing and editing financial documents, spreadsheets and presentations
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Pro
- Proven experience in proposal management, RFP writing, or bid management
- Strong project management skills with ability to manage complex initiatives
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
- Strong knowledge and experience designing infographics, financial charts, tables and graphs
- Ability to work independently on a project or collaboratively as a team player and able to integrate with a diverse team
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Graphics, Business or related field
