Job Summary
Fund Accounting Officer will plan, schedule, and manage daily workflows for client relationships; review processes including bookkeeping, capital calls/distributions, financial statements, bank reconciliation, and partner capital accounts; facilitate startup of new funds and client conversions; monitor operations, assess risks, and provide feedback; resolve issues and maintain strong home-site relationships; contribute to internal training and cross-department collaboration; develop and maintain performance evaluations, and support projects to improve management reporting, risk initiatives, and client satisfaction. Strong communication, staff management, and accounting experience in fund administration for hedge funds and private equity funds are required; CPA/ACCA a plus.
Required Qualifications
- college degree (business, accounting, economics, mathematics, finance)
- 5 years of accounting and/or financial service operations experience
- CPA/ACCA a plus (at least in processing)
- strong English and communication skills
- detail-oriented, owner’s mindset, logical thinking, strong learning ability, sense of responsibility and team work
